Heading Home To Latvia

05 May 2010 06:40
The end of the standard SFL season sees clubs having to say goodbye to some of their squad Midfielder Aleksandrs Gramovics and striker Dmitrijs Borisovos have left Clyde and headed home to Latvia after their contracts with the Cumbernauld club came to an end. Bully Wee Director of Football, Neil Watt is not sure if either of them will be coming back. He said:  “We saw a lot of Aleksandrs in action but not as much as Dmitrijs so I will have a chat with Stuart Millar when he comes on board to see if it is an avenue we should pursue for next season.” Both players arrived on short term deals in February and scored a goal apiece in what proved to be the Broadwood club’s unsuccessful fight against relegation to the Third Division. Midfield pair of Marvyn Wilson and Conn Boyle have also left the club after being released. Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba.net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba.net)This is Scottish-Fitba.Net
