Head In The Wrong Place

You have to be physically and mentally fit to play these days

Hibs manager Pat Fenlon decided not to use Jorge Claros in the 0-0 draw at Aberdeen because of speculation over his future at the Easter Road club. The loan deal with his parent club, Motagua in Honduras, is due to end next week and discussions over the internationalist's future are being drawn out. As things are far from settled, Fenlon thought it best to leave the midfielder out as he was not of the right frame of mind to play. He said: "We felt his head hasn't been right the last couple of days. He's in a situation where we have to get his future sorted out. I had a good chat with him and just felt that he wasn't in the right frame of mind to play. He hasn't signed for us yet. We're working on that at the moment and have been for the last three or four weeks and it's been slowed up. But hopefully by Monday we'll have a resolution."
