Have You An Interest In Queen Of The South?

Could someone have left you shares in the Palmerston Park side? Queen of the South, who are in a degree of financial trouble, are looking out for lapsed members of their shareholder family. The Doonhamers have lost contact with many of their shareholders since the club was incorporated in 1922 and there will be some may not even remember or realise they are shareholders.  A club spokesperson said: "Many have either moved away without providing a forwarding address or died without anyone making a claim to be the heir to the shares. At this point in time there are more than 100 shareholders with whom contact has been lost over the years and approximately 13,000 shares that as a result are in limbo. We are looking to track down the rightful owners but it will not be easy as the vast majority of them pre-date the Second World War but hopefully a number will still have family who remain fans of Queen's and might recognise the details. We have put together a list of names, occupations and last know addresses of those shareholders whose status is presently listed as ‘Deceased’ or ‘Address Unknown ‘and any help that can be provided in tracing the people themselves or family members will be welcomed."Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba net)This is Scottish-Fitba Net
