John Hartson tells it like it is in his latest book Many thought ex-Celtic striker John Hartson was not long for this world when he was diagnosed with testicular cancer back in July 2009. However, the combative style he showed on the pitch did him proud in the fight for life as he showed he was not about to give up while he had the chance. Today, his book 'Please Don't Go' will be available in all good bookstores and it charts Hartson's fight from the depth of despair to fitness. The cancer spread to his lungs and brain but that was not enough to see him off. Hartson ignored the lump on his testicles for four years before getting it checked out which led to him having to endure gruelling treatment and extensive brain surgery. His book tell his story which will offer hope to others affected by the disease and courage to others who struggle with health problems.  Please Don't Go is published today and you can meet Hartson and get your copy of his book signed at the following locations: Thursday 8 October at 1pm WH Smith, The Quandrant Shopping Centre, SwanseaThursday 8 October at 3.30pmWH Smith, Trostre Parc, LlanelliMonday 11 October at 12.15pm Waterstone's, Sauchiehall Street, GlasgowMonday 11 October at 1.30pmThe Celtic Store, Argyl Street, GlasgowThursday 21 October at 12pmWaterstone's, Oxford Street, Swansea Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba net)This is Scottish-Fitba.Net
