Alloa have two new players to liven up the squad Newly appointed Alloa player/manager, Paul Hartley has made his second signing of the season with striker Kevin Cawley joining the Recreation Park side just a day after Aberdeen goalkeeper Scott Bain. The front man scored nine goals for East Stirlingshire last season, including one against his new employers in the Co-operative Insurance Cup. The Wasps were not alone in being keen for his autograph on a contract and managed to beat off competition from other SFL sides. An Alloa spokesperson said: "Kevin was a star in the Celtic Youth system before moving on to Ayr United and then Stranraer.  He showed that potential again at East Stirling and we are looking for him to build on that for Alloa."
