Hard Work Brings It's Own Rewards
There is more to a club that just the players. You also need fans who will do nearly anything to ensure their club survives. Stranraer now have a fan on the Committee and it is not just any fan. Shaun Niven has been working hard behind the scenes to support the club by more than his admission fee and was one of the driving forces being the Save our Stranraer fund that was set up a couple of years ago as a shortage of cash seemed certain to see the club go into administration. He has been rewarded for all his hard work and dedication to the club being tangibly rewarded by being elected to serve on the Committee of the Third Division Club.Niven raised cash for the club including setting up an E-Bay site to sell football memorabilia.
