Transfer windows equals stories from all sides about future plans. All should be taken with a pinch of salt until a deal is signed sealed and delivered

Midfielder Iain Vigurs is happy to stay in Dingwall despite being linked with a move away from Ross County during the January transfer window. As ever during the transfer window, speculation was rife about move for a number of players, including Vigurs, from various English clubs. How many are stories to liven up the sports pages or agents doing their job we will never know. But for Vigurs at least it appears there was nothing to the rumours of him leaving. His deal expires at the end of the season, but it is understood that the club are preparing to offer him at extension to keep him at County. Vigurs said: "Everything said in the transfer window was speculation. I'm happy here and concentrating on this season. The gaffer and George Adams said they'd be happy for me to stay next term. I've not been offered anything yet, but they want me which is a bonus."
