St Mirren want Darren McGregor to continmue his development in Paisley. St Mirren are not minded to part with Darren McGregor despite rumours that Rangers are interested in taking him to Ibrox for a reported fee of £200,000. McGregor followed his ex-manager Danny Lennon to Paisley from Cowdenbeath last summer and had had an impressive debut season in the SPL, winning a number of Buddies' supporters awards. He still has a year to run on his present deal and the Saints have no intention of letting him go to Ibrox.  General manager Brian Caldwell said: "We have not had contact from any club with regards to any of our players. (Manager) Danny (Lennon) has been working hard over the last few weeks to try to build a squad that will improve on the performances of last season. Our focus remains on strengthening the squad over the summer."
