Hamilton Sign McGonigal

Junior football's loss is the SPL's gain Bo’ness Juniors look set to lose manager Allan McGonigal to full time football. tyhe club lifted the East Region Superleague title on Saturday for the first time in 41 years but their manager has been offered the chance to become youth team manager with  Hamilton Accies. McGonigal was due to  meet with New Douglas Park boss Billy Reid today to agree terms. McGonigal said: "It was a great weekend for me with Bo’ness winning the league and then this chance coming up. I have met with the Hamilton Chairman Ronnie MacDonald to discuss the role and it all sounds very exciting. I will meet with Billy to finalise matters but I do not foresee any problems" The former Falkirk and Cowdenbeath striker worked as assistant to Brian Fairley at Dumbarton, Forfar Athletic and Stenhousemuir before steering Sauchie and Camelon to success in the Junior game.
