Jim Duffy is making big changes at Clyde Clyde manager, Jim Duffy is making strides to re-configure his squad with moves to sign six players. The Bully Wee manager is due to bring in versatile Kris Irvine from Dundee United, one time Dumbarton and Annan front man Liam Cusack, ex-Morton midfielder Ryan Kane, who has impressed Duffy after shaking off a hamstring injury, and one time Hearts, Raith Rovers, Queen’s Park and East Stirling midfielder John Neil has also agreed to came on board. Some familiar faces have returned with Pat Scullion agreeing to make last season’s loan move from Stenhousemuir a permanent move and the club's youth coach, Lee Sharp has also agreed to keep his boots off the hook for another season. Duffy said: "I have said before that we will have a young squad and nothing has changed in that regard but that does not mean that we will lack skill, energy or commitment for the club. The younger players coming in will be learning all the time but I believe that they have potential to succeed." The recruitment of Sharp is designed to help the youngsters at the club develop. Duffy went on: "Lee is no stranger to Broadwood and we need good professionals around the club to help the boys on and off the park and Lee falls into that category. First team senior football is completely different from the under-19s and it is about learning to cope with that change as quickly as you can. The squad is taking shape now and I am still looking to add to it and we will continue to work off the park with that aim in mind."
