Any player being injured is a worry but a 'keeper injuring his hand can be a significant concern

Some good news for Arbroath for the start of the new year now that x-rays have confirmed that goalkeeper Scott Morrison had not broken his wrist as first thought. Morrison had missed the Red Lichties last three games and was expected to be out for a couple of months. However, Morrison could be back pushing for a place in the first team much sooner. Player/ manager Paul Sheerin said: "We have been told that there is no break and no fracture which is good news, although Scott has suffered some severe bruising. Hopefully he will be back challenging for his position a long quicker than we had expected him to be."
