Good Enough For Scotland And St Mirren

Grant Adam will return to familiar territory this season after playing in Paisley for Scotland.

Grant Adam has found a new club after being released by Rangers after failing to break into the first team. The 'keeper's new address will be C/O St Mirren as he agreed a two-year deal after impressing manager Danny Lennon while on trial. Adam was out on loan with Airdrie United last season where he made 14 appearances. This was good enough to earn his a place in Billy Stark's Scotland Under-21s squad against Italy in April. Adam, brother of Liverpool midfielder Charlie, will hope to get his career back on track with the Saints after the club agreed terms with the youngster.  Lennon said: "I've always said we won't go beyond our means. We value Grant and he'd give us a good option but we are in a financially uncertain period."
