John Gemmell has decided to move on to further his career.

Stenhousemuir have signed John Gemmell from Albion Rovers. The striker had been attracting  a lot of interest from other clubs after a fine season in the Second Division. Brechin City and Arbroath and other Second Division clubs enquired about Gemmell who is in his second spell at Coatbridge and who scored nine times last season. Gemmell started his career as a schoolboy at Queen’s Park before having spells at Partick Thistle, Hamilton Accies, Dumbarton, Cowdenbeath and Montrose. His former Rovers manager Paul Martin said: "It was no surprise that there was interest in John as he was great for Albion Rovers last season. He has always had great potential and hopefully he can go on fulfil that throughout the rest of his career."
