A little bit of pay back from Stuart Garden

No matter how the season goes for Montrose this time around, manager Stuart Garden is for the high jump. He has agreed to participate in a tandem parachute jump for SANDS, the Stillbirth and neo-natal death charity. In May Former goalkeeper Garden will take off in a plane from Errol Airfield in Perthshire but will be making his own way back down to earth. He hopes that sponsors will help raise funds as a thank you gesture to Gable Endies fan John Walshe who sponsors his kit at Links Park.Garden said: "Every year John and his wife pay for the manager’s kit at Montrose and we look to give something back in return. Last year Ray Farningham arranged for a strip to be signed by our squad and then auctioned off but this year I thought I would raise the stakes a bit. The charity is important to them and their support of the club is important so it will be a good thing to do it although I am not quite sure what I have let myself in for. Players, fans and officials at the club are already sponsoring me and it would be great if other people throughout the game in Scotland could do so as well."If you would like to sponsor Stuart please contact the club by e-mail montrosefootballclub@tesco.net
