From West To East for Glasgow City

Glasgow City have another challenge this week as they head to Germany to take on Tribune Potsdam.

The Champions League adventure for Glasgow City continues when they head to Germany on Monday in preparation of their last 16 tie with Turbine Postdam. They do not go alone and have attracted the interest of BBC Alba and Eurosport who will both be showing the game live. The Scottish Champions leave on the first flight to Berlin for the biggest game of their club’s history. Not only are City the first Scottish women’s team ever to get this far in Europe’s most elite club competition, but they will also become the first Scottish side to have their UEFA Women’s Champions League match broadcast live on TV thanks to BBC Alba and Eurosport.  Eurosport will transmit the crucial match live in Germany and Asia, whilst BBC ALBA hold the exclusive rights for the UK.City’s Club Manager, Laura Montgomery said: "It is fantastic for Glasgow City and the game in general to have such an important match live on TV. This is a momentous occasion for everyone involved and it is testament to BBC ALBA that they are once more backing women’s football.
