Friendlies Proving Difficult To Arrange

East Stirlingshire are having problems getting games arranged before the start of the season East Stirlingshire’s recently appointed head coach John Coughlin has arranged for his side to play former Scottish Cup holders Tayport at their Canniepairt home in a pre-season friendly. The sides will meet on Saturday, 16 July with a 2.00pm kick off.  Coughlin wants to get other games arranged but things are proving difficult.  He said: "I would like four pre-season games but our big problem is playing home matches in pre-season as we only rent Ochilview. If we want to play then it’s going to have to be away and that can be a problem if games are far away. But we will not stop looking."
