Mark Roberts and Owen Coyle, who played together with Airdrieonians and Airdrie United, will get the chance to catch up when their respective sides meet for a pre-season friendly at Ayr United’s Somerset Park. The duo are now managers with Roberts acting as host to Coyle's Bolton on Wednesday, July 18 with a 7.45pm kick off. A delighted Roberts said: "Owen and I go back a long way and teamed up twice at Airdrie so it will be fantastic to see him again as well as being a terrific game for us in the build-up to the new season." Coyle added: "It will be Bolton’s first game of their pre-season friendlies and my squad will be a full strength team, including our international players. I see the game as a real test."
