If Frank McKeown ever gets shown a card for play-acting, he has one of his own to show the ref. Stranraer may be accused of play acting sometime during the season but at least one of their players has an Equity card to show he knows what he is doing. The club have signed centre-half Frank McKeown just 24 hours after thinking they had lost the player to a Second Division club. McKeown also works as an extra in River City and Taggart. The defender, who was with Arthurlie Juniors last season, had looked ready to sign for the Stair Park side last week but he held back when an unnamed Second Division side got in touch, but he has now signed the deal. Blues boss Keith Knox said: "The deal took a bit longer than we expected however, Frank is our player now and I am delighted with that."
