Fenlon Turns To Academy Players

Hibs are a team in trouble and tomorrow they meet a team buzzing after lifting themselves of the bottom of the SPL. It could be a long trip back from Aberdeen.

Hibs are at the bottom of the SPL and could do with all the help they can get to move away from the wrong end of the table. Therefore it is not good news for manager Pat Fenlon to have to travel to Pittodrie for tomorrow's game against Aberdeen without Garry O'Connor and Isaiah Osbourne.

Hibs are level on points with Dunfermline after the Dons moved up to ninth place with four points from their two games this week. Fenlon said: "Ozzy's got a little bit of a strain, so we'll see how he is tomorrow and Garry is carrying a knock as well.

We'll assess both of them tomorrow and then we'll make a decision." Fenlon has been assessing his squad and has added Academy midfielder Sam Stanton to the travelling party. The Easter Road manager said: "We've brought Sam in - he has done well for the Under-19s in the games I've seen. If the kids are doing well then I firmly believe that if they're good enough then we will put them in and give them a go."
