Fair Dos To The Pars
History doesn't often repeat itself but it is nice to remember. Half Time at East End Park and youngsters helped stage a half-time re-enactment of Dunfermline's famous 6-2 victory over Spanish side Valencia in the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1962. All eight of the goals scored during that game were re-enacted by 36 youngsters from DAFC's three community teams. The event was part of 99...100, a major community and education project that explores and tells the stories of Fife.
