Everybody Wants To Be Involved

With still a trophy and a league title to play for, everyody at Celtic wants to play James Forrest believes Celtic have the advantage in the title run-in over their old rivals Rangers due to the depth of the Parkhead pool of players.  Forrest made his first start in two months as Celtic regained top spot from Rangers with an easy 3-1 win over over Hibs on Wednesday night. Forrest has had to put up with an injury-interrupted season, but his club's injury worries have eased in recent weeks, with Shaun Maloney on the verge of a comeback and Freddie Ljungberg making a rare appearance, from the bench late in the game, against Hibs. Right-backs Cha Du-ri and Andreas Hinkel remain out but Celtic manager Neil Lennon is otherwise in line to have a full squad after the split with Daniel Majstorovic making good progress after a broken toe. There are nine SPL games left for Celtic, and Rangers, and a Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen to come, Forrest feels everyone is keen to play a part in the run-in.  Forrest said: "Only Daniel Majstorovic is injured and there is a big squad so there will be a need to change things about. There is talk of us having four games in eight days, so if the manager needs to change the team he has the players to do it. That was my first start for two months I'm delighted to be back in the team and hopefully I can play more. Everyone is buzzing at the moment, we are in the position where want to be in the last 10 games of the season."  Celtic meet St Mirren a home on Saturday and Lennon has stressed the need to make full use of home advantage with a number of away games to come, including a trip to Ibrox on Easter Sunday. Lennon, who is still in the midst of a self-imposed media ban, spoke to club's official website: "With nine games still to go, I think we have six away to look at, so it's very important we win our home games because away games can be unpredictable at times."
