European Football A Big Carrot

It must be hard to hang onto players when other team have European football to offer

Having left Inverness Gregory Tade has signed for St Johnstone on a minimum one-year deal. The French striker has signed a pre-contract with the Perth club after Europa League football helped sway his decision to join the McDiarmid Park club. Tade said: "Over the last few weeks it has been very intense with various clubs showing interest in me. I felt that my first season in the SPL went very well and it was important to build further on that form. I had great advice from Pro Legal Sports Management regarding my options and decided that I should expand on last season by staying in the SPL with St Johnstone. I will also be given the opportunity to play in Europe which is hugely important.  would like to take this opportunity to thank Terry Butcher and everyone connected with Inverness FC for their support throughout my time at the club."
