Dundee Want To Be Party Poopers

The race for promotion is over but that does not mean the game between Inverness and Dundee will be a dull game Inverness welcome the side they piped to promotion to the SPL as Dundee call round. Defender Stuart Golabek returns to the squad after suspension but striker Richie Foran will be missing because of a knee knock. Manager Terry Butcher said: "We have yet to beat Dundee this season, with the three league games between us drawn and Dundee coming back to beat us in the ALBA Challenge Cup Final. That is a huge incentive to win this one, as is extending our unbeaten run to 21 games and I would imagine that Dundee will be coming here to prove a point.'' Dundee goalkeepers Rab Douglas and Tony Bullock have been ruled out along with defenders David Cowan, Eric Paton and Gary McKenzie. Midfielder Colin Cameron has a broken arm and striker Leigh Griffiths is sidelined because of an ankle knock. Eddie Malone and Jim Lachlan will also be absent because of bans. Through gritted teeth, Dens Park manager Gordon Chisholm praised Inverness for winning the title and then promised to beat them to spoil their end of season party. Chisholm said: "Inverness deserve to be champions after the fantastic run that they have been on. We are guaranteed second place but as everyone knows you get nothing for finishing second in this league.''
