Douglas Denied Dismissal Delight

Not all appeals get past the review process.

Barry Douglas will miss the next two Dundee United games after the SFA  rejected an appeal against the red card he received against Ross County. Douglas was sent off just over an hour into the game in Dingwall, which United lost 1-0,  for a challenge on Ivan Sproule. After reviewing the incident at Hampden today the SFA upheld the original decision.United will now go into the games against St Johnstone on Saturday and next week's trip to Inverness with out Douglas, but he will be available for the final game of the season when United welcome Celtic to Tannadice on 19 May.
