Doubts Over Russell and Rhodes

Scotland's under 21s are hoping Johnny Russell and Jordan Rhodes will be fit for tomorrow

Scotland Under-21 strikers Johnny Russell and Jordan Rhodes are still undergoing treatment ahead of tomorrow's  UEFA qualifier against the Netherlands. Huddersfield striker Rhodes, who has scored six goals in as many under-21 internationals, had to sit out yesterday's training session with a dead leg. Dundee United striker Russell is suffering the same problem but not as bad. Ahead of the game at St Mirren Park, Scotland Under-21 coach Billy Stark said: "We've got a couple of, maybe concerns is too strong a word, a couple of dead legs in Jordan Rhodes and Johnny Russell. Johnny managed to train this morning and we'll see how he is before going out this afternoon. Jordan is not quite there in terms of being able to train yet but hopefully he'll be okay."
