Dilemma Facing Hibs

Colin Calderwood is keen to keep Derek Riordan at Easter Road Unsurprisingly, Colin Calderwood is staying optimistic about the prospects of keeping Derek Riordan at Easter Road. Turkish side Eskisehirspor are said to be considering a £250,000 bid to sign the striker when the transfer window opens tomorrow. Riordan would be free to talk to any club as his current contract expires at the end of the season. Riordan is currently enjoying his second spell with Hibs, having returned to the club in 2008 after an unhappy two-year spell at Celtic.Calderwood has confirmed talks have taken place regarding a new deal and remains hopeful Riordan will stay with Hibs. The Hibs manager said: "Derek is 100 per cent a Hibs fan and initial talks have gone well, but we'll have to wait and see what happens in January".
