The prosepect of catching up on un-played fixtures does not faze Jon Daly Striker Jon Daly is looking forward to playing lots of games as Dundee United return from a lengthy period of inactivity. After a weather-enforced break of more than five weeks, United let slip a two-goal lead - courtesy of strikes by David Goodwillie after two and 35 minutes - to allow Hibs to claw themselves back to a 2-2 draw on Wednesday night. Paul Hanlon netted an 89th-minute equaliser after substitute Danny Swanson had been sent off for two bookable offences at Easter Road. United now travel to Pittodrie on Saturday to first foot the Dons who are resurgent under Craig Brown, with wins in their last two games after losing the previous six. Daly said: "It's going to be tough. They've got a new manager in and when a new manager comes in it gives the place a lift. But hopefully we can go there and get the three points. The lads are looking forward to it (catching up on games). That's what you want to do - you want to play games. Two or three games in a week we'll be well up for and hopefully by that time we'll have our injured boys back - (Craig) Conway, Sevvy (Scott Severin) and Dodsy (Darren Dods). We're looking forward to it and if we can keep needless suspensions away we should be all right." Daly was referring to the dismissal of Swanson, who was yellow carded fewer than 30 seconds after getting on for a reckless tackle on Danny Galbraith before receiving a second booking 12 minutes from time for deliberate handball. Swanson's actions did not go down to well with manager Peter Houston, particularly with United already short of players. Daly played in defence on Wednesday last night and is happy to continue there if required by Houston, although Garry Kenneth is now available again following suspension. Daly added: "I enjoyed it. I thought we were quite comfortable and I thought we defended well. It was an experience and I enjoyed it and if my manager needs me to do it again I'd be more than happy. As a striker you have an idea what the strikers like to do and it was good to play with Sean (Dillon) and he talked me through it."
