Still a bargain to see football in the SFL The SFL clubs are leading the way in keeping football affordable for fans. We reported yesterday that Forfar were sticking with Third Division prices after their promotion to the Second division. Now we can report that  East Stirlingshire are carrying on  their ''Making Football Affordable'' campaign with season tickets on sale priced at £99 for adults, £25 for senior citizens and student/under 16 year old tickets at £10. A spokesperson at the club said: “At the Shire we want to encourage as many young supporters to come to our games as possible. We firmly believe our young supporters are the future lifeblood of the club and want to make their match day experience as enjoyable and cost effective as possible.” Meanwhile, on the playing side of things, the club look to be hanging onto five members of last season’s squad that made the play-offs. Scott Johnston, Stephen McGuire, Dean Richardson, Craig Tully and Derek Ure have all told head coach Jim McInally that they will sign on again. However, striker Simon Lynch has moved to Stenhousemuir and defender Michael Bolochoweckyj is a target for newly promoted Forfar. McInally said: “We have five to start with and maybe a couple of others as well and that gives us something to build on. I am confident we will build a decent squad but I know there are some players considering deals from other clubs that we cannot match.” Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba net)This is Scottish-Fitba.Net
