Credit Where Credit Due
If you score a goal you should get the credit Airdrie are determined to set the record straight over who scored their second goal against East Fife on 7 August. They have approached the SFL to ensure that is credited to Scott Gibson. Last month’s media reports credited Euen Grant with the goal, however it was defender Gibson that scored for the Diamonds. Officials at the club have been hitting their head against a brick wall ever since trying to get the records amended .Club secretary Ann Marie Ballantyne said: "We have tried various sources to ensure that Scott was credited with his first ever senior goal but without success.
