Craig Brown is always full of praise for the opposition.

Aberdeen take on St Mirren today and manager Craig Brown is worried by someone who will not be playing. Buddies coach Tommy Craig used to work with Brown when the SFA were their employers and the Dons manager is a great admirer. Craig, who's impressive CV includes coaching spells at Hibs, Celtic, Aberdeen and Newcastle, became assistant to Danny Lennon at the Paisley club last year. Brown said: "St Mirren are a good team with good players and Danny Lennon recruits well. But I think the best recruit was his assistant Tommy Craig, he has been a great signing. I worked with Tommy for about eight years with the Scotland under-21 side, we get on extremely well and I was pleased to see him go to St Mirren. He has all the attributes of a great coach; great man management skills, honest, hard-working, very knowledgeable, he loves the game and he is extremely enthusiastic. St Mirren are fortunate to have him and we know it is going to be a difficult game. Danny's team always tries to play football, we are aware of their potential and we will have to be at our best to get the win." The Dons have yet to win at home in the SPL this season, with only goalless draws with Ross County and Hearts to show for their efforts. Brown is hoping to turn what be believes were good home performances into wins. He said: "We have not had the results our play has merited. We have beaten St Johnstone away but are the only SPL team to play Celtic at Celtic Park so far and we lost. We played exceptionally well in our two home matches against Hearts and Ross County but only managed to draw them. We just want to win the games we should win. We deserved to beat Hearts, we had so many chances against them and we also deserved to beat Ross County, so it is all our fault, we have to take our chances."
