Motherwell get much needed sponsorship. Motherwell are benefitting from their good start in the Europa league. Not only are they attracting reasonable crowds but they have also attracted a new shirt sponsor in the shape of voice and data communications company Commsworld. The deal is just for the year but a handy six figure bundle of notes comes with it. Motherwell chief executive Leeann Dempster said: "We are absolutely delighted to announce this deal today and look forward to what will hopefully be a long and fruitful relationship with a strong Scottish company." Manager Craig Brown went on: "We're delighted that the club have secured such a lucrative deal with a well-known, established organisation. Even trough the priority for Archie Knox and I is very much football matters, we know and acknowledge the importance of a strong brand on the front of our kits." Richard Nicol, CEO of Commsworld, for his part said: "Commsworld have ambitious growth plans and are certain that the extensive media coverage that the SPL enjoys will substantially increase awareness of the brand."
