Clyde Hat-Trick Counts For Nothing

Despite the loss the game was worth playing. We told you the other day about Hibs giving Clyde a game to get rid of some of the lethargy brought on by enforced idleness due to the weather. Midfielder Nikki Paterson took full advantage of the opportunity to scored a hat-trick all from dead-ball situations. Unfortunately for Clyde, the young Hibs side who suffered the set back managed to score four in return and won the game 4-3. Paterson scored with two free kicks and a penalty in the game at Ravenscraig.Broadwood manager Stuart Millar said: “We have not played competitively since 13 November and only had one other bounce game since then so it was great to have that workout.” Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba net)This is Scottish-Fitba.Net
