Not many clubs can maintain SPL lifestyle in the Fisrt Division. Hamilton are making the hard decisions now. The reality of their situation is hitting home at New Douglas Park as Hamilton have told two of their highest earner they are free to find new clubs. The First Division looks to be the next location for Hamilton and the club will not be able to afford their SPL level wage structure on reduced income. Damian Casalinuovo has been released and fellow striker Marco Paixao has been told his contract will not be renewed for next season.  Accies are 12 points adrift at the foot of the SPL with six games remaining following Sunday's 1-0 loss to Rangers. The club realeased a statement which said: "Striker Damian Casalinuovo has been released at his own request to enable to him to attempt to win a contract in Germany, while Portuguese striker Marco Paixao has been informed that he will not be given a contract for next season."
