Glasgow City lead the Women'sPremier league and lead the table in numbers in the Scotland squad

Scotland take on Sweden on Sunday at Stark's Park and Glasgow City have provided seven players of the 17 player squad who will line up against the team who finished 3rd in last year’s Women’s World Cup. Although undoubtedly a difficult game against one of the world’s finest women team’s, the game represents the perfect test for Scotland before welcoming Israel to Tynecastle on Saturday 16th June, in a must win European 2013 Championship qualifier.The City players involved are defenders Rachel Corsie and Emma Fernon, midfielders Jo Love and Leanne Ross and striking trio Jane Ross, Emma Mitchell and Lisa Evans. City and Scotland regular Christie Murray misses out through injury.
