Chalali Could Be A Dons Darling

Aberdeen needs goals and are looking for the right man to be the provider. Algerian under-23 striker Mohamed Chalali was a new arrival at Pittodrie yesterday as he started his week-long trial. He currently plays with Panionios in Greece and began his career in France with Le Havre. Aberdeen have failed to score a single goal in the league so far this season and manager Craig Brown is keen to add to his attacking options.  Dutch striker Maceo Rigters also remains at Pittodrie this week as he too tries to impress the Dons. He was linked with a move to Celtic in 2007 after starring in Holland's successful European Under-21 Championship campaign, but Blackburn won the race for his signature. However, Rigters failed to make an impact at Rovers following his move from NAC Breda.  He spent last season on loan at Willem II in his homeland before his Ewood Park deal expired.
