Mahamadou Sissoko would be happy to stay at Rugby Park Defender Mahamadou Sissoko is hoping Udinese will allow him to join Kilmarnock on a permanent basis. Sissoko has impressed in making 28 appearances for Killie while on loan this season, although he is currently sitting on the sidelines thanks to a groin injury. He hopes to be able to return for Saturday's game against Hearts and is also keen to clinch a long-term deal at Rugby Park.  Sissoko said: "It wouldn't upset me at all if I had the chance to stay in Scotland with Kilmarnock. I've enjoyed my time here and have made some good friends. I like Scottish football and I'm settled. The only issue is I don't know what Udinese want to do. My agent is speaking to them because I'm still under contract and if they want a lot of money for me it will make it hard for Kilmarnock or anyone else to sign me. I just have to wait and see what happens but I want to try to get fit again before the end of the season and play. I went to Italy for 10 days to see a specialist and I've returned to full training in the past few days. I'm hoping I can come back on Saturday but if not I will definitely be looking to get back the following week because I've missed playing."
