Ricardo Vaz Te is the latest player who has been offered a trial at Easter Road. He could be joined by more as the manager looks to boost his squad. Hibs are giving former Bolton striker Ricardo Vaz Te a trial. If Colin Calderwood likes what he sees, Vaz Te will be available on a free transfer as he recently ending a six-month stint at Panionios. He joined the Greek club on a three-year contract last summer after he was released by Bolton at the end of last season. However, things failed to work out and he is now trying to convince Calderwood to offer him a contract at Hibs. Vaz Te spent several seasons with Bolton and made almost 80 appearances in all competitions during his time at the Reebok Stadium. The Portuguese born forward played in a bounce game against Kilmarnock and Calderwood revealed he may yet bring in more trialists to assess if they are worth signing. The Hibs manager said: "We might bring in one or two further trialists in the next couple of weeks to have a view. But we've really got to make sure that the concentration is not so much on that but on the first-team fixtures."
