Caley Thistle's form through October has some tangible rewards as Terry Butcher is named manager of the month Terry Butcher has picked up the manager of the month award for October after guiding Inverness Caledonian Thistle unbeaten through the month. Inverness beat Aberdeen and Kilmarnock and drew 1-1 with both St Johnstone and Rangers. Picking up a points from Saturday's game at Ibrox stretched Caley Thistle's unbeaten away record in the league to 15 games and punctured the home team's 100% record in the SPL this season. Butcher said: "I'm very pleased and see it as a reward for the whole team for their performances. We've done well but it's important that we maintain momentum. Eleven months unbeaten in away games is a wonderful record but we're now looking to be more consistent at home. Winning the award is a fine start to November and Maurice Malpas and I are grateful for the spirit and effort of the playing squad."
