Brown Still Keen On Signings

Players are still available for signing despite September closing the transfer window Craig Brown is still looking to pick up players that will improve his Aberdeen squad. He has often said that he will not sign a player just for the sake of it so has bided his time and was not put off by the closure of the transfer window. There is still a chance  of a new face or two before Saturday's game with Hibs as clubs can still sign players who are out of contract. The veteran manager said: "There are a lot of guys out there that are hoping clubs will pick them up and we have got details of all of them. It would be great if we could get something done before the Hibs game. But I don't want to build up the hopes of the Aberdeen supporters and then let them down because there are a few things to consider." Brown did say that it was unlikely that he would try and bring back Nigerina striker Sone Aluko to Pittodrie. He added: "Sone made it clear that he saw his future away from here. I'd discuss taking him back but he would need to make the first move."
