Scott Brown is a doubt for Scotland's friendly in Slovenia next week.
The Celtic skipper injured his groin against Dunfermline at Parkhead in midweek and is a doubt for the visit of Motherwell in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League on Saturday.
Hoops manager Neil Lennon said: "Scott Brown is a doubt, he came off on Wednesday with a groin problem and we will see how he is in the morning."
He added: "I don't know yet (about Scotland), it will depend on how he is tomorrow.
"If he is out of our squad then we will probably have to get him assessed by the Scottish medical staff and take things from there."
