Bring The Games On

27 February 2010 10:46
Albion Rovers manager Paul Martin is happy to play as many games as possible in a week. Albion Rovers have only managed to play 20 of their scheduled 26 games to date and today's game against Berwick Rangers may also fall victim to the weather. Manager Paul Martin remains philosophical about the fixture pile up that could see the Coatbridge side forced to play on a Saturday, Monday and Wednesday basis in April to complete their fixtures. Martin is not worried about the fixture congestion and said: "If that is what happens it happens. There is no point worrying about it and if that is what we need to do then we will do it. I would rather be involved in three games a week looking for a promotion place than one game a week and not looking for promotion."
