Bouzid Puts Himself Out There

It is usually agents who tout players but this time it is Ismael Bouzid who is alerting teh Old Firm to his availablity. Ismael Bouzid has been released by Hearts and would be happy to for either of the Old Firm. The Algeria ace was out of contract at Tynecastle following his 2009 move from Turkish side Ankaragucu. The defender is now looking for a new contract and admits it would be good to stay in Scotland and play for Celtic or Ranger, with whom he has been previously linked.  He said: "Everyone knows Celtic and Rangers are two massive clubs. If you have the chance to play there it would be good for you and I'll check with my agent when I return from holiday next week and see what is happening. I was happy with Hearts but in terms of a contract what happens on the pitch and in the office is often different. Sometimes you can be happy playing with a club and not find a solution behind the scenes. I have been happy to play for Hearts these last two seasons. I wish them all the best and hope they reach the group stages of the Europa League."  Along with compatriot Madjid Bougherra, Bouzid is pleased with the impact the Algerian pair have made in Scotland. He added: "That's life but I hope the next Algerian who arrives in Scottish football shows the same professionalism and attitude as Madjid and me. That's important for the reputation of footballers from our country."
