Cowdenbeath were showing no fear ahead of Saturday's cup game

Cowdenbeath will be putting out the red carpet for Hibs on Saturday and the players are up for the challenge. The William Hill Scottish Cup started a short tour of Scotland today at Central Park today. Blue Brazil manager Colin Cameron and players Lewis Coult, Greg Stewart and David Cowan (along with mascot Bluebell!) were on hand to get a close up view of the silverware and offer views on the prospect of getting a step closer to the cup again after Saturday.

Striker Coult was looking forward to taking on the SPL side despite not getting on the score sheet on Saturday. He said: "We are unbeaten at home this season and are meeting Hibs at the right time as far as we are concerned. They are on a downward spiral and our confidence is high after another home win where we scored four goals without reply. Cup games are a bit of a lottery but we are confident that we will give Hibs more than a game. If we can keep the scoresheet blank for the first 20 minutes, I am sure the visiting fane will get on Hibs backs and who knows how they will react. Even if they score, Hibs have not been very good at holding onto a lead so we will not allow our heads to go down."

No matter what the result on Saturday, Coult is looking forward to winning the league. The Blue Brazil top Division Two and could meet Hibs on a more regular basis if reults go gthe way of the 'Beath and against the Hibees. Watch out for the results at the end of the season as Coult has promised to run around Central Park if Cowdenbeath win the league!
