Blue Brazil Re-Sign Pair

It will be like have two new players as injuries are forgotten about ahead of the new season. Cowdenbeath may have lost their manager when Jimmy Nicholl moved to Kilmarnock to assist Kenny Sheils buy they have managed to retain a couple of their players. Newly appointed manager Colin Cameron has persuaded defender Dene Droudge and midfielder Danny Mackay to sign new deals with the Central Park club. The players came through the Blue Brazil youth system but, due to injuries, their progress has not been as rapid as expected. However both have now returned to full fitness. Droudge, who was part of current St Mirren manager Danny Lennon’s side that were promoted in 2010, had a successful operation to reconstruct his injured knee in January with Mackay looking to make up for lost time after nearly two years out after suffering a cruciate injury in the 2009 play-offs. He has returned from a loan spell with Dundonald Bluebell which has recharged him for the season ahead.
