Danny Lennon liked his Cowdenbeath players so much he could not bear to be without some of them. St Mirren manager Danny Lennon is taking his Cowdenbeath team into the SPL by stealth as he made Gareth Wardlaw his fourth signing from his former club. Wardlaw scored 19 goals for Lennon last season as the Fife club earned promotion from the Second Division, has signed a one-year contract. The former Ayr and Raith player follows Darren McGregor, Paul McQuade and Peter Bradley in following their ex-manager to Paisley. Lennon has also signed David van Zanten, goalkeeper Craig Samson and Watford left-back Juve Travner, on loan, since taking over from Gus MacPherson.
