Morton are still hoping to get the signature of Dougie Imrie on a contract ahead of the new season. The former Clyde, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Hamilton Accies and St Mirren striker wants to consider his options a while longer. He joined in pre-season training with Allan Moore’s Cappielow squad last season. However he is taking his time before deciding who to sign for following his release from the Paisley side.Imrie said: "It is a big move for me and I want to ensure I get it right. I have enjoyed being involved but it is too early to say whether I will be here next season."
