Rangers will wnat to prove that Wednesday was a one-off and the Pars will want to show they deserve to be with the big boys. Could be a good game in Fife tomorrow Dunfermline manager Jim McIntyre admits he fully expects a tough game tomorrow against Rangers who dropped out of the League Cup on Wednesday night thanks to the efforts of Falkirk. Rangers are not known for losing that many games in a row so the Pars may have to cope with the backlash when rangers call round to East End Park on Saturday. Ally McCoist's will not have given his highly paid players an easy time of it in the inquest after the defeat in the League Cup and the Dunfermline chief fully expects a highly-motivated opposition to turn up in Fife, keen to prove a point after losing their grip on a prize which they secured in the last two seasons. McIntyre warned: "They'll certainly be disappointed, and any time you lose a game you look for the reaction in the next match. They were fabulous last weekend against Celtic and we know when the champions come to town that they have top players. We'll need 11 players on top form to have a chance. That's not being pessimistic - it's facts. They have better players than us, but that doesn't always win you the game. We need to make sure we are well organized and disciplined, but at the same time we need to take our chances and try to play with a freedom. I think St Johnstone have already proved this season what you can do against the Old Firm with a little luck and a good performance." After last weekend's thrilling fight back to secure a 2-2 draw with Hibs, McIntyre challenged his players to believe they belonged in the top flight. He now reckons the visit of Rangers gives his SPL new boys the perfect stage to prove just that. He said: "Every time the fixture list comes out the games you are looking for are Rangers and Celtic. You want to test yourself against the best and the players now have the opportunity to do that live on the television. It's something the players should relish and not be fearful. There's a good bunch here and they've worked their backsides off in training, and they are looking forward to this game."
