Players cover a lot of ground during a game but not as much as Queen's Park juniors before a ball is kicked in anger on Saturday Queen's Park are hoping to take 500,000 steps at the weekend ahead of their game against Stranraer. The annual ‘Hampden Climb’ will see over 200 players from the club’s youth department aged 10 and 19 and staff run up every passageway at the National Stadium. With over 50 passageways and over 3,000 steps in total to be covered there is a fair amount of organisation taking placeHead coach Gardner Speirs said: "The first team and I are disappointed that we cannot join in but wish everyone the best of luck.
