Bangura Could Stick With AIK

Celtic will have to make up their minds over Mohamed Bangura's future

AIK are looking into the possibility of securing Mohamed Bangura's services beyond his loan spell which is due to end in December. The Sierra Leone international rejoined former club AIK in August after struggling for form with Celtic last season. Of course, financial considerations will have to be taken into account and AIK plan to hold talks with Celtic in the near future. Bangura has impressed observers over the past couple of months, which has given rise to the suggestion  that the arrangement could be made permanent. AIK sporting director, Bjorn Wesstrom said: "Mohamed has a great history with our club. He is performing well so in the near future we will have a discussion with Celtic to see what their plans are for him. He's a Celtic player and they have a mandate to do as they wish. But we'll speak to them and will know how to proceed when we have done that. Finances would be an issue. We are not even close to the same level as Celtic but we will see the outcome."
