Back To Bread And Butter Stuff For County

League commitments do not allow for prolonged celebrations and Ross County head to Greenock tonight still on a high. Morton face Scottish Cup finalists Ross County tonight without full-back Kevin McKinlay (knee) and winger Jim McAlister (broken foot). The Greenock side will be looking to stop the Dingwall side's celebrations but manager James Grady does not have his worries to seek. He has a number of unnamed players carrying knocks and after playing nine times since the beginning of March, he will give them until the last minute to prove their fitness. Grady said: "We have a few players with bumps and bruises and it looks like the extra couple of days at the weekend due to County's cup game has worked in our favour as I am hopeful the injured players will be available.'' Ross County defensive midfielder Steven Watt looks set to return to a  squad that has no  injury or suspension worries following their Saturday efforts against Celtic. All thoughts of the meeting with Dundee United on 15 May will be banished as they return to league action. The club have beaten the points total set last season and manager Derek Adams is out to finish as high in the table as possible. He said: "I had always said before the cup run that progress this season would be judged on beating our points total and then finishing higher in the table. It has been a hectic few days but everyone was buoyant at training on Monday. We will have our feet on the ground by the time we kick off at Greenock.''
